Al Soares is President and Steve Sanfilippo is Vice President. Shop Committee members Mike Welby, Michael Horowiec and Cliff Medeiros complete the Negotiating Committee. Early in the year, President Al Soares moved to District 26 to serve at the District level. Steve Sanfilippo took over the role as President and Cliff Medeiros became the new Vice President of our local.

The current bargaining agreement between Local 587 and Raytheon was ratified by the membership on on February 26 , 2023. The 3-year contract secured a raise of 3.0% for 2024.
