Edward Ferreira was Chief Steward with Shop Committee members Angelo Latini, Anthony Piermont and Lucy Levada rounding out the Negotiating Committee. Sally Battista was Recording Secretary and Angelo Latini was Secretary Treasurer. |

| December 1978 Ballot | In 1979, Raytheon's
Submarine Signal Division initiated it's new "Workmanship
Excellence" program in which employees were rewarded with S&H Green
Stamps for striving to reduce defects during the manufacturing processes. Photos were taken of the "teams" and were included in the company's newsletter, "The Soundings". Below, you can find the pictures from the publication: |
